The project

Six buildings—including a 20-storey tower reaching 107 m—with 41,000 m² of institutional and mixed-use space in the heart of Kinshasa. A development that needs to stay cool all year, with very different uses, schedules, and exposures from one floor to another.

Our role

Sizing and supply of all Daikin equipment: a VRV system for room-by-room control, DX splits for technical rooms, and air handling units for fresh air. Commissioning assistance and ongoing support for the installed systems.

The expected result

Zone-based controls that follow the actual occupancy of each floor rather than a single setpoint, and energy consumption kept in check over the building's lifespan thanks to Inverter technology.
